  • On the third day of trekking the Machame route, the hiker(s) and the crew stroll on a mild ascent and enjoy a panoramic view. We will traverse the southwest aspect of Mount Kilimanjaro, passing under the Lava Tower and the very last segment of the Western Breach after a warm lunch at the lowest point of the Lava Tower at 4,600 meters. We will then descend to the lowest point of the Great Barranco Valley at 3,950 meters.

    Day 4: Kilimanjaro Barranco Camp to Kilimanjaro Karanga Camp

    Day 6: Barafu Camp to Kilimanjaro summit, down to Mweka Camp
