2 days safari to Tarangire & Ngorongoro crater Overview
2 days camping safari to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is a short but exciting trip that allows you to experience two of Tanzania's top wildlife destinations.
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
On the first day of your Tanzania camping safari, you'll start early in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, which is about a 2-hour drive from Arusha. The park is known for its large herds of elephants and other wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and more. You'll spend the day on game drives, exploring the park and taking in the sights and sounds of the African bush. In the evening, you'll set up camp in a designated camping area within the park.
Day 2: Mto wa mbu or Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater
On the second day, you'll wake up early for breakfast and then head to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most unique natural wonders in the world. You'll descend into the crater for a game drive, where you'll see an incredible variety of wildlife including the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos). After the game drive, you'll have lunch before heading back to Arusha.
