Lemosho route is considered one of the most scenic and varied routes for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It's also a longer route, taking seven to nine days to complete, which can help with acclimatization and increase your chances of successfully reaching the summit.
Day 1: After breakfast, drive to Lemosho gate (2,385 m/7,825 ft), then hike to Mti Mkubwa camp (2,820 m/9,250 ft) for about 3-4 hours.
Day 2: Hike from Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp (3,505m)
Day 3: Hike from Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp (3,840m)
Day 4: Hike from Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower (4,630m), then descend to Barranco Camp (3,950m)
Day 5: Hike from Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (3,995m)
Day 6: Hike from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,673m)
Day 7: Summit day! Hike from Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), then descend to Mweka Camp (3,080m)
Day 8: Descend from Mweka camp to Mweka gate (1,650 m/5,413 ft), then transfer back to the hotel in Moshi.
